DLXN Energy Completes 5MW Solar Farm Installation in Kenya

Kenya Solar Farm Project Completion

DLXN Energy today announced the successful commissioning of a 5.2MWp utility-scale solar farm in Nairobi, Kenya. The installation uses DLXN-550M bifacial modules paired with single-axis tracking, generating 8,200 MWh of clean electricity annually — enough to power 3,500+ households.

The project was completed in 18 months from groundbreaking to grid connection. The system operates at 82.5% performance ratio, exceeding initial projections. SCADA monitoring via DLXN-IOT 1.0 provides real-time performance data and predictive maintenance alerts.

This installation reduces CO₂ emissions by 4,800 tons annually, equivalent to removing 1,000 cars from the road. The project has received recognition from the Kenya Ministry of Energy as a model for utility-scale solar deployment in East Africa.
